Ingredients
Ingredients for salad:
- 150 g Cos Lettuce
- 200 g Cherry Tomatoes
- 2 slices Cheddar Cheese
- 30 g Boiled Egg white (diced)
- Italian Grated Cheese
- Red Bell Pepper for garnishing
Ingredients for Chilli Paste dressing:
- 4 Egg Yolks
- 30 g Sugar
- 80 ml Vinegar
- 20 ml Lime Juice
- 4 tbsp/60g Chua Hah Seng Chilli Paste
- 80 ml Chua Hah Seng Chilli Oil
Instruction
- Pour egg yolks, sugar, lime juice, vinegar, and chilli paste in a bowl and mix together until sugar dissolves.
- Add chilli oil and whipped until all mixed well and creamy (hand whipped or using blender)
- Pour water in a pot by ¼ and put on heat until boiled.
- Put the dressing bowl over the boiling pot, and stir the dressing cream for 1-2 mins. Then remove the bowl and set aside for rest.
- Prepare cos lettuce on the place, set in to pine tree shape.
- Decorate the Christmas Tree Salad using cherry tomatoes, diced boiled egg white, red bell pepper, cheese slices, and grated cheese as tree ornaments.
